Useful before you ever hire us
The More Jobs Kit.
Find the missing next step between an inquiry and a collected roof. Use this yourself, share the link with your team, or ask RRM to handle a bounded First Five block.
No signup or homeowner-data upload required. This page uses the site’s existing analytics; calculator inputs stay in your browser.
The 15-point lead-to-job check
Test what happens next.
Start with a quick self-check. When an answer is unknown, run the practical test. This is not a score designed to scare you into buying.
- Call your business number. Does a real person or a useful next step answer?
- Submit a test website inquiry. Confirm it reaches the person responsible.
- Name the person who owns the next response and their backup.
- Check that homeowners hear what happens next, not just ‘message received.’
- Write down the roofing work and service areas you actually accept.
- Ask whether the person can authorize or arrange the inspection.
- Record how each person requested contact and what channel is permitted.
- Check availability against the calendar your estimator really uses.
- Send the exact date, time, time zone and next-step instructions.
- Make rescheduling simple and stop a sequence when someone replies.
- Use one real, permissioned project to explain why the work matters.
- Ask what questions remain after a quote, rather than sending guilt trips.
- Ask all eligible customers for honest reviews, not only happy ones.
- Give people a voluntary referral link; do not collect a friend’s details without permission.
- Track the inquiry, held inspection, sold job, completed job and collected cash separately.
What would one more roof mean?
Model five held appointments. Separate sales from profit, and a signed quote from money collected.
Illustrative contribution after these costs

Fractional jobs are a planning average, not a deliverable. Actual visits and sales can be zero. Overhead, taxes and omitted costs reduce profit. No job, revenue or return guarantee.
Copy. Adapt. Check permission.
Ten useful follow-up scripts.
Replace every bracketed field with verified information. Only use a channel and message the homeowner has appropriately permitted. Stop on an opt-out, suppression or reply. Never send a template with an unverified date or link.

The real-job shot list
- A permissioned before shot showing the actual problem.
- A work-in-progress detail with safe work practices.
- A close-up showing the specific improvement.
- A clean after shot from a comparable angle.
- A short explanation: problem → work → useful detail → next step.
Verify ownership and permission. Remove faces, addresses, license plates and documents unless you have appropriate authorization. Never present synthetic images as a completed roof.
The lead-buyer scorecard
- What exactly am I buying: contact, booked meeting or held visit?
- What is the source and is it disclosed?
- Who verifies project, area, decision-maker and attendance?
- What happens with duplicates, no-shows and disputes?
- What extra media, setup or recurring costs exist?
- How do I stop, and what renews automatically?
The homeowner quote guide
- What work and materials does the quote cover?
- Which possible extras are not yet priced?
- What has been verified about licensing, coverage and warranties?
- Who handles questions and scheduling changes?
- What are the written payment and completion terms?
The roofer—not an automated marketing assistant—must answer technical, safety, insurance and pricing questions.
Keep the toolkit.
Delegate the follow-through.
First Five: $0 setup, $250 per qualified initial inspection that happens, five / $1,250 cap. New-demand media is separate.
